Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their client's Data Platform team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and internal tools for automating data platform workflows
• Integrate tools with core data infrastructure and build pipelines to expose capabilities via APIs and UIs
• Build visualization and monitoring components for data lineage, job health, and quality metrics

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or software development, with at least 5 years in building production-grade data or platform services
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, and experience with a major data platform (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Experience with streaming, distributed compute, or S3-based table formats (e.g., Spark, Kafka)
• At least 2 years of experience in AWS
• Experience building data pipelines using dbt
