Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to manage and optimize data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the core data infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Build and maintain custom data ingestion pipelines and optimize data transformation jobs
• Define the long-term data infrastructure roadmap and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of data engineering experience, with at least 2 years in an early- to mid-stage startup
• Deep knowledge of deploying and optimizing dbt or comparable tooling
• Experience managing various data management systems (data warehouses, data lakes)
• Mastery of SQL and fluency in Python or a similar scripting language
• Experience with cloud data warehouses and tools for monitoring data stack health
