Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer, Sentinel (Pacific Time Zone).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and operate cloud infrastructure (AWS) based on customer requirements
• Lead improvements to data infrastructure, pipeline automation, and monitoring systems
• Participate in the development and support of new feature rollouts and respond to customer issues

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python with experience in building backend APIs and microservices
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS core services and scalable solution architecture
• Proficiency in Terraform/Scalr and building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals for secure application accessibility
• Expertise with big-data tools and workflow orchestrators like Snowflake and Airflow
