Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage production data infrastructure, including data pipelines and ingestion from various sources
• Model and curate high-quality data assets, ensuring data integrity and quality across sources
• Support AI-native workflows by building vector infrastructure and ensuring timely access to data for AI applications

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including end-to-end pipeline design and data quality enforcement
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect
• Hands-on experience with cloud data stacks (AWS or GCP) and familiarity with data processing frameworks like Spark or Trino
• Exposure to vector databases and understanding of embedding-based retrieval in LLM applications
• Experience with Unix environments, containers (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines
