Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their Data & Analytics team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows in Python using AWS tools
• Write production-grade Python and SQL code for data transformations, reporting jobs, and internal tooling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into reliable data products and implement data quality frameworks

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or a hybrid data/backend software engineering role
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL for building production data pipelines and optimizing queries
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services such as Glue, S3, and Redshift
• Experience with modern BI platforms, preferably Looker or Tableau
• Solid understanding of data modeling techniques and familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools
