Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Senior Data Engineer is a full-time, hands-on role focused on designing, building, and operating data systems to enhance analytics products and AI experiences, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams and spending a portion of time on non-coding activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize production usage of Snowflake and Cortex features, including performance tuning and cost governance
• Develop and maintain agentic data modeling and natural language data retrieval capabilities
• Design and implement data pipelines for transforming and modeling data from various systems into reliable data products

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional data engineering or backend engineering experience
• Significant hands-on experience with modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Demonstrated experience with Agentic AI or LLM-powered systems in production
• Expertise in advanced SQL and Python for building data pipelines
• Experience with workflow orchestration and cloud-native deployment on AWS, Azure, or GCP
