Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Senior Data Engineer, this full-time contract position is fully remote and focuses on building and optimizing scalable ETL pipelines, supporting cloud-based data architecture, and enabling analytics and reporting across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes across multiple data sources
• Develop and optimize data workflows using Python and SQL within a cloud-first environment leveraging AWS services
• Partner with business stakeholders and engineers to define and deliver data requirements while troubleshooting existing data systems

Required Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong experience with SQL (advanced proficiency) and Python (or similar language)
• Hands-on experience with AWS data ecosystem (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.)
• Experience working with large, complex data sets and distributed systems
• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities
