Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of data architecture, the full-time Senior Data Engineer II will develop complex data systems and pipelines, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely from anywhere within the US.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement complex data systems and pipelines that meet business requirements
• Lead the development of scalable and efficient data processing frameworks
• Monitor and enhance data pipeline performance to ensure high availability and reliability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 10 years of progressive experience in data engineering or a similar role
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java, along with expertise in SQL and database systems
• Experience with cloud platforms and big data tools, including AWS services
• Demonstrated ability to develop advanced analytics and visualization solutions using tools like Power BI
