Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing technology team, the remote Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark for batch and streaming workloads
• Build and optimize data processing frameworks on cloud platforms like Databricks or Snowflake
• Implement data governance and metadata standards, ensuring data quality and compliance

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related fields
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in OLTP and OLAP data modeling
• Solid programming expertise in Python, PySpark, or similar languages
