Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Engineer will develop and manage scalable data services, complex ETL pipelines, and intricate data models to analyze blockchain transaction activity at petabyte scale, contributing to the creation of a safer financial system.

Key responsibilities

• Build highly reliable data services to integrate with multiple blockchains
• Develop complex ETL pipelines for real-time processing of structured and unstructured data
• Design and architect data models to support sub-second latency for querying blockchain data

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting distributed system architecture
• Exceptional programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL or SparkSQL
• Experience with data stores such as Iceberg, Trino, BigQuery, and StarRocks
• Proficiency in data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow and DBT
