Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Senior Data Engineer on the Graph Analytics team, the candidate will design and implement scalable graph algorithms to analyze large cryptocurrency transaction networks while collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and investigators.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement graph algorithms for analyzing large cryptocurrency transaction networks at a multi-blockchain scale
• Research and evaluate new graph-native technologies to enhance data science and engineering efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user stories and requirements for new graph algorithms and features

Required qualifications

• Academic background in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics
• Strong knowledge of algorithm design and data structures with real-world application experience
• Experience optimizing large-scale distributed data processing systems like Apache Spark or Hadoop
• Proficient in programming with Python and SQL
• Familiarity with basic graph theory concepts
