Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time Senior Business Data Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain data analytics solutions while collaborating with senior leadership to address data needs and improve processes in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Leadership to assess and address current and future data needs
• Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines and metadata systems for effective business analytics
• Analyze metrics and provide analytical support for real-time data processing and exploratory data analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related field, or 8-10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in building and maintaining scalable ETL processes on big data platforms
• Proficiency in data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts
• Strong knowledge of data mining techniques and experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with senior leadership
