Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of advanced data solutions, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and implement Azure cloud-native enterprise data solutions, focusing on data integration, transformation, and governance while working remotely from anywhere within the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines and solutions utilizing Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage
• Lead a team of data engineers, providing technical direction and overseeing code reviews and design guidance
• Implement and maintain data quality frameworks, ensuring reliability and operational efficiency of data processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
• Proficiency in Apache Spark, Scala, and SQL
• Experience in developing reusable data components and automation processes
• Strong understanding of data governance and quality assurance practices
