Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Engineer will design and develop modern data-centric applications to support clinical and operational workflows, focusing on building scalable data pipelines and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Automate and monitor batch/streaming ELT/ETL pipelines across cloud services and Snowflake
• Perform root-cause analyses on failures and optimize Snowflake performance and spend
• Collaborate with product and analytics teams, documenting procedures and providing on-call support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of related experience; 5-8 years preferred
• Strong SQL skills, plus hands-on experience with Python and shell scripting on Linux
• Experience with cloud computing and data warehousing on relational platforms
• Solid understanding of OLAP/dimensional modeling and RDBMS fundamentals
