Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support clinical and operational workflows, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will design and develop data-centric applications, build scalable data pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while leveraging cloud technologies and big data platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Automate and monitor batch/streaming ELT/ETL pipelines to ensure data accuracy and freshness
• Perform root-cause analyses on failures and optimize Snowflake performance and spend
• Collaborate with product and analytics teams, documenting procedures and providing on-call support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of related experience; 5-8 years preferred
• Strong SQL skills, along with hands-on experience in Python and shell scripting on Linux
• Experience with cloud computing and data warehousing on relational platforms
• Solid understanding of OLAP/dimensional modeling and RDBMS fundamentals
