Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Data Engineer will design and develop data-centric applications to support clinical and operational workflows, focusing on building scalable data pipelines and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Automating and monitoring ELT/ETL pipelines across cloud services and Snowflake to ensure data accuracy
• Performing root-cause analyses on failures and continuously reducing mean time to recovery (MTTR)
• Collaborating with product and analytics teams to document procedures and provide reliable on-call support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of related experience; 5-8 years preferred
• Strong SQL skills, with hands-on experience in Python and shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell) on Linux
• Experience with cloud computing and data warehousing on relational platforms
• Solid understanding of OLAP/dimensional modeling and RDBMS fundamentals
