Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and developing modern data-centric applications, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will build scalable data pipelines and support clinical workflows in a remote environment while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Automating and monitoring ELT/ETL pipelines across cloud services and Snowflake to ensure data accuracy
• Performing root-cause analyses and optimizing Snowflake performance and spend
• Documenting procedures and providing reliable on-call support in partnership with product and analytics teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent education/experience
• 5 years of related experience; 5-8 years preferred
• Strong SQL skills, along with hands-on experience in Python and shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell) on Linux
• Experience with cloud computing and data warehousing on relational platforms
• Solid understanding of OLAP/dimensional modeling and RDBMS fundamentals
