Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Leading data engineering initiatives, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will gather requirements, develop, and implement solutions to enhance the consumer, patient, provider, and employee experience in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Partnering with business units to understand internal customer needs and delivering actionable recommendations to achieve desired business outcomes
• Establishing technology standards and processes while mentoring junior team members and providing guidance on complex application and system specifications
• Analyzing customer needs and managing the identification of new developments in systems and applications to enhance service quality and efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, Computer Sciences, Process Engineering, Business, Healthcare, Information Systems, or a related field
• Four to seven years of experience in reporting and/or analytics in relevant fields such as clinical, financial, or healthcare
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects independently
• Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Tableau, and Excel, along with experience in clinical software applications
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
