Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the EPEO - Data and AI Ops team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain a Security Data Lake and associated data products remotely, leveraging expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and building scalable data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and monitor automated data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using Python, SQL, and GCP services
• Manage and optimize schema designs and data quality frameworks within Google BigQuery
• Integrate diverse data sources and security tools via APIs to centralize security oversight

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Data Warehousing, or software development
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its native services
• High proficiency in Python and advanced SQL for building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience with API integrations for security tools and data sources
