Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Data Engineer will build ETL pipelines and data models in SQL/GCP, curate data for machine learning models, and utilize Python and Airflow for orchestration while collaborating with various data sources.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement ETL pipelines and data models to streamline data processing
• Perform complex SQL queries and data curation for multiple organizational needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective data management and communication

Required qualifications:

• 4-5+ years of experience in data engineering
• Extensive proficiency in SQL, including query tuning and complex joins
• Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline creation using Airflow
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and orchestration
• Familiarity with GCP and BigQuery is a plus
