Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a large-scale modernization of a global clearing and settlement platform, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and modernize complex ETL/ELT pipelines, migrate high-volume financial file systems to a cloud-based architecture, and build scalable data ingestion frameworks, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and modernize complex ETL/ELT pipelines for payments and settlement processing
• Support migration of high-volume financial file systems into a modern cloud-based architecture
• Build scalable data ingestion frameworks for batch and near real-time transaction processing

Required qualifications:

• 7-12 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform roles
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and distributed data processing systems
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong knowledge of ETL frameworks, data modeling, and batch/stream processing
• Experience handling high-volume transactional or financial data systems
