Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer, the full-time remote position will design, develop, and optimize data pipeline architecture to support analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable data management systems and processing pipelines using cloud-native services
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion and transformation from various sources
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create Looker dashboards and ensure data architecture meets business needs

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related role focused on data infrastructure
• Expert proficiency in SQL and at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, Java)
• Deep expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Hands-on experience with Looker, including building and maintaining LookML models in a production environment
