Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on building and operating foundational data infrastructure platforms, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will design lakehouse architectures, ensure high availability of platform services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data workflows.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operate critical data infrastructure platforms, including lakehouse and orchestration frameworks
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of platform services supporting enterprise data workloads
• Drive improvements in developer productivity through automation and tooling while participating in on-call rotations for troubleshooting

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or data engineering roles
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and distributed systems
• Experience with data platforms, including lakehouse architectures and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Airflow, Kafka)
• Demonstrated experience using AI/agentic engineering tools to improve development efficiency
• Strong background in infrastructure architecture within large-scale or enterprise environments
