Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design, development, and operation of AI agents, the full-time remote Senior Data & AI Engineer will shape intelligent experiences across the platform, focusing on building scalable AI and data services while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-grade AI agents, managing the full lifecycle from prototyping to continuous improvement
• Lead the development of scalable AI and data services, including APIs that expose intelligent capabilities to various products and applications
• Serve as the internal expert on Snowflake Cortex, collaborating with Snowflake's teams to influence capabilities and application of the platform

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, AI/ML engineering, or related fields, with hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications
• Deep expertise in Snowflake, including performance optimization and scalable data modeling approaches
• Strong understanding of modern agent development patterns and experience with frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Production experience with dbt and Airflow, including building and maintaining semantic or metrics layers
• Strong Python engineering skills and experience working within AWS environments
