Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a large-scale Apigee Hybrid and multi-cloud modernization initiative, the remote Senior Data Engineer will implement and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, analyze complex data sources, and design Kubernetes infrastructure while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines using best practices in data management and governance
• Design and deploy Apigee Hybrid runtimes across GCP, Azure (AKS), and on-prem Kubernetes environments
• Develop and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure as code and integrate CI/CD pipelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development
• 5+ years of hands-on SQL programming experience
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining automated data pipelines
• Strong experience in multi-cloud environments, specifically Azure and GCP
