Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work remotely on a W2 or 1099 basis, who will build and maintain Microsoft Fabric data pipelines, develop lakehouse solutions, and support analytics capabilities while collaborating with client engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric data pipelines supporting various data sources
• Develop and orchestrate Spark notebooks and implement lakehouse patterns within OneLake environments
• Collaborate with client engineers through paired development and knowledge-sharing activities

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Services, including Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory
• Hands-on experience in production environments with Microsoft Fabric
• Strong experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience developing Spark notebooks and implementing medallion architecture patterns
• Strong SQL skills for data transformation and performance tuning
