Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the mission of improving care for families living with dementia, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and manage end-to-end data architecture, build ingestion pipelines, and operate a curated analytics layer, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the data architecture, including secure storage, ingestion pipelines, and analytics layers
• Build and maintain reliable data ingestion pipelines from various sources while ensuring data quality and governance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data contracts and support machine learning workloads

Required qualifications

• BS/BA degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of professional data engineering experience with a proven track record of end-to-end production data systems
• Mastery of PostgreSQL and strong experience with data pipeline design and operation
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and familiarity with data governance in a HIPAA-regulated environment
• Strong Python skills and experience with data validation frameworks and orchestration tools
