Job Summary

To support next-generation healthcare data platforms, the full-time contract Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and operate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines across GCP and Azure cloud environments, ensuring secure handling of healthcare data while mentoring junior engineers in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

Design, build, and operate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines across GCP and Azure cloud platforms
Model large, complex datasets for analytics and orchestrate workflows using modern tools
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production pipelines while ensuring compliance with HIPAA requirements

Required qualifications

7+ years of data engineering experience delivering production-grade systems
Advanced SQL expertise with hands-on experience building complex data pipelines
Strong development experience using Python or Java
Proven experience designing and operating ETL/ELT pipelines at scale
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
