Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support data-driven decision making, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data processing systems while ensuring data security and reliability in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion tools, ETL solutions, and data models to support data warehousing and analytics
• Mentor junior staff and participate in on-call rotations for production issues
• Utilize AI to enhance ETL component development and data analysis processes

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data/software development, including data warehousing and ETL tools
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and data modeling techniques
• Experience with relational databases such as Sybase ASE, Oracle, and MySQL
• Proven ability to diagnose and remediate performance issues in data systems
