Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the finance organization, the remote Senior Data Engineer will integrate fragmented financial data into a unified, real-time platform while building scalable data pipelines and optimizing data structures for advanced financial analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for ingesting complex financial data into the cloud data platform
• Architect data models for financial reporting to support critical processes like Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R)
• Implement data governance and security controls for sensitive financial data, ensuring compliance with regulations such as SOX and GDPR

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with 2-3 years focused on financial data systems
• Deep expertise in modern cloud data warehouses such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and pipeline orchestration
• Experience with data structures of major enterprise ERPs, particularly SAP S/4HANA
• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance requirements for financial data
