Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Driving larger, complex projects independently, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, implement, and optimize data integrations and pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data solutions utilizing Azure resources and ensure data quality and reliability
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide technical guidance on data engineering best practices
• Monitor and maintain data pipelines, optimizing for scale, performance, and cost efficiency

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in data engineering with expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and data warehousing
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and PowerShell
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data integration techniques
• Familiarity with integration connectors such as APIs and streaming data
• Experience with agile development methodologies and Git/Github for CI/CD
