Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a high-accuracy real-world evidence platform, the fully remote Senior Data Engineer will design and operate production-grade data pipelines, ensuring reliable ingestion and transformation of complex clinical data while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of the data platform architecture, establishing patterns and standards
• Build and operate production-grade data pipelines that reliably ingest and transform high-variance clinical data
• Contribute to quarterly data product releases by collaborating with product, clinical, and customer success teams

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering, with experience at a technical lead level
• Production experience with Snowflake and dbt as primary data platform tools
• Strong Python skills for building and maintaining data pipelines
• Experience building resilient pipelines on irregular, high-variance data sources
• Ability to engage meaningfully with the business and domain context around the data
