Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the full data lifecycle, the contract Senior Data Engineer & Analytics Developer will develop scalable data pipelines, create polished Tableau dashboards, and ensure efficient data architecture while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Google BigQuery and Cloud Composer
• Build and maintain production-quality Tableau dashboards that facilitate self-service analytics for stakeholders
• Architect modular data solutions, ensuring long-term sustainability and efficient data management practices

Required qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in data transformation and pipeline logic
• Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, including dataset design and cost-optimization techniques
• Familiarity with Tableau for dashboard development and performance tuning
• Experience in orchestrating data workflows using Apache Airflow or similar tools
• Knowledge of data architecture patterns such as Medallion and Dimensional Modeling
