Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the full data lifecycle, the contract Senior Data Engineer will develop scalable pipelines and create polished Tableau dashboards, working remotely while utilizing advanced skills in Python, SQL, and GCP technologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures using BigQuery and Cloud Composer
• Develop production-quality Tableau dashboards that translate business requirements into intuitive visualizations
• Optimize datasets and manage the lifecycle of data assets to ensure efficiency and reusability

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with significant expertise in GCP and BigQuery
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, applied in daily tasks
• Experience designing reusable enterprise data models, including medallion and star schema architectures
• Demonstrated ability to create Tableau dashboards linked to well-structured data layers
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data pipelines and infrastructure-as-code concepts
