Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the transformation of data infrastructure, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will design and manage ETL/ELT pipelines, build and optimize a Snowflake data warehouse, and develop analytical models to ensure timely and trustworthy data for investment operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Airflow and implement automated ingestion processes
• Serve as the subject-matter expert for Snowflake, managing data architecture, loading, and optimizing complex SQL queries
• Collaborate with investment teams to create data models, dashboards, and reports that drive strategic decisions and integrate AI capabilities

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development with proficiency in data manipulation libraries such as pandas and NumPy
• Proven experience in designing and operating ETL/ELT pipelines, with familiarity in Apache Airflow and AWS Lambda
• Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture and advanced SQL, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or Terraform
• Exposure to LLM integration patterns and familiarity with data governance and cataloging tools
