Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To build and own the data infrastructure that powers the company's operations, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will architect, maintain, and enhance the data platform while collaborating with Data and Product teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain the data infrastructure for reliable and scalable data movement and transformation
• Own the analytical schema in the data warehouse, ensuring accuracy and consistency for internal and customer-facing reporting
• Lead technical accountability for data systems, managing projects from design to production and advocating for infrastructure improvements

Required qualifications

• 5-8+ years of data engineering experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or marketplace environment
• Hands-on expertise with modern data stack tools such as Estuary, Astronomer Airflow, dbt, and BI tools
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills for creating clean and maintainable data models
• Experience with end-to-end data quality management, including testing and observability frameworks
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data analysts and product engineers
