Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with Data Architects and the Machine Learning Team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will develop and deploy engineering and integration solutions remotely, utilizing Python, Java, and Kafka to implement data solutions and support enterprise data needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data structures, workflows, and integrations to ensure accurate business process execution
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and API integrations to manage increasing data volume and complexity
• Document technical designs and prepare data for predictive modeling while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in data engineering
• At least three years of experience with OOP, SQL, data modeling, and building data processing systems
• Strong proficiency in advanced analytics tools and programming languages such as Python and Java
• Experience with Big Data technologies like Hive, Spark, and familiarity with Kafka
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and security standards in data pipeline production
