Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity, this full-time position will build and maintain data systems using Databricks and AWS, ensuring high-quality data solutions that support analytics and business teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure in Databricks and AWS
• Audit and document existing pipelines to enhance reliability and data quality
• Integrate third-party data sources and APIs, ensuring clean data ingestion and transformation

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with large-scale data solutions
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or Scala
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, and AWS cloud services
• Understanding of data modeling, ELT/ETL design, and distributed data systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
