Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a high-growth startup in the FinTech space, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will architect and build scalable data pipelines, optimize data solutions using Databricks and AWS, and develop high-quality code in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Collaborate with product teams and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and availability
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of existing data infrastructure

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience, preferably in the FinTech space
• Deep proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale datasets
• Hands-on experience with modern lakehouse architectures
• A humble and resourceful mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
