Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Data Engineer to work remotely within the US, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support analytics and product decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable and reliable data pipelines for analytics and product decision-making
• Own medium-sized data platform initiatives from initial design to production deployment and operational support
• Monitor workflow SLAs for freshness, quality, and performance, ensuring pipeline reliability and resolving failures efficiently

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of delivering reliable production data pipelines
• Strong experience with Apache Airflow for designing and maintaining orchestration workflows
• Experience building scalable data pipelines using cloud data platforms like BigQuery and tools such as DBT
• Proficient in data modeling, schema design, and building maintainable data systems
• Experience implementing CI/CD best practices for data pipelines, including automated testing and deployment workflows
