Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Mission-driven and experienced, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and implement scalable data pipelines and infrastructure remotely, transforming complex datasets into trusted data products while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own data pipelines and infrastructure, designing and evolving production-grade systems using tools such as Dagster, Airflow, and Snowflake
• Lead data ingestion and integration, ensuring data quality, integrity, and lineage while enabling domain experts to maintain their own data pipelines
• Transform raw data into structured datasets that empower analytical and product teams, collaborating with operational data managers for alignment

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field
• Deep experience designing and operating data pipelines and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Dagster, Airflow)
• Strong understanding of ELT/analytics engineering patterns (e.g., dbt, dimensional modeling)
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS)
• Proficiency in Python and modern deployment patterns, including containerization (Docker)
