Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain data integrations and ETL pipelines while mentoring junior engineers in a remote or Worcester, MA-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Complete data integration, data warehouse design, and build scalable ETL pipelines
• Ensure data security and compliance while implementing data engineering best practices
• Coach and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Azure Data Services, including Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake Storage
• Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture and Data Lake best practices
• Experience with data modeling, governance, and security best practices
• Familiarity with integration connectors such as APIs and streaming data
• Knowledge of pySpark/SparkSQL and Delta Tables
