Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a pragmatic Senior Data Engineer in a full-time hybrid role, this position will architect and evolve data platforms, optimize performance and cost, and align data with business needs while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end data models and pipelines to support critical business decisions
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across high-volume data workflows
• Translate complex business logic into clean, reusable datasets and drive the creation of high-value data products

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering with a strong track record of delivering scalable data platforms
• Deep experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouses
• Advanced SQL skills and extensive experience with data transformation and testing frameworks in dbt
• Proven ability to mentor peers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture
• Experience in taking projects from ambiguity to production, including CI/CD integration and data quality ownership
