Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Engineer will consult between technology and business units to design and develop solutions for data challenges, utilizing expertise in SQL, Python, and cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Independently design and develop solutions to business data issues, ensuring insights are effectively implemented
• Conduct quality testing and collaborate with business units to verify that solutions meet objectives
• Mentor junior data engineers and review their work for quality and completeness in addressing business problems

Required qualifications

• Proficient in SQL and programming languages such as Python and Spark
• Experience with data integration into Big Data systems
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS
• Experience with design, coding, and quality testing of data solutions
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in sprint activities
