Job Summary

To drive technical direction and tackle complex data challenges, the full-time Senior Staff Data Engineer will architect and build data systems and pipelines, ensuring reliability and quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build core data systems and pipelines, owning reliability from raw data to production
• Drive ambiguous data problems to shipped solutions while defining architecture and patterns for efficient integrations
• Collaborate with Product, ML, and Solutions Engineering teams to ensure built solutions meet customer needs

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in building data engineering systems at a staff or principal level
• Deep technical expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, dbt, and modern data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality data integrations or ETL systems at scale
• Ability to own end-to-end problems and set technical direction in a fast-paced environment
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI-augmented engineering and experience with AI coding tools
