Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a high-growth advertising technology company, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will develop robust data pipelines, ensure data quality and reliability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale reporting infrastructure for advertising performance and billing reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure accurate and actionable financial and operational data
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Business stakeholders to deliver high-impact data platforms
• Implement data validation and cleansing practices to support data quality and reliability across the organization

Required qualifications

• Proficiency with AWS data and serverless services (Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, QuickSight)
• Strong Python development skills and experience with infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform)
• Experience with SQL Server, ETL processes, and ensuring secure handling of sensitive financial data
• Familiarity with unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and project management tools (e.g., Jira)
• Understanding of APIs, SDLC, testing, deployment, and version-control best practices
