Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

As a subject matter expert in data engineering, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will manage, design, and optimize enterprise data pipelines and database solutions across various business lines, ensuring high-performance data platforms and reliable integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the expert for ETL and database solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and implement optimized data solutions
• Design and maintain data systems in Snowflake, ensuring scalability and accessibility for analytics and reporting
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines and manage data lakes and data warehouses to enable efficient data processing and governance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering and database management, preferably in cloud-based environments and financial services
• 3+ years of experience in designing and building data lakes and data warehouses using platforms like Snowflake or Azure
• 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Expertise in cloud-based database platforms and strong SQL skills for data manipulation and automation
