Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a large Healthcare client, the fully remote Senior Data Engineer will develop and operationalize data pipelines, focusing on the migration of legacy systems to a consolidated application framework as part of an agile scrum team on a 6-month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement standardized data management procedures for data staging, ingestion, preparation, provisioning, and destruction
• Develop, test, and maintain architectures using various programming languages and tools
• Ensure the quality of technical solutions as data moves across environments and identify opportunities to improve data reliability and efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Proven experience with SQL, including writing multi-table joins, subqueries, and aggregations
• Experience with Big Data processing, data manipulation, and data mining
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python
