Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a scalable data platform, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and implement production-grade data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and data models while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate production-grade ingestion pipelines from various systems into the Databricks lakehouse
• Develop and maintain dbt models to create clean, analytics-ready datasets
• Establish data quality and monitoring practices to ensure pipeline reliability and performance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data or backend engineering roles with significant data platform responsibility
• Hands-on experience building and operating production-grade data pipelines and ingestion frameworks
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data ingestion, processing, and transformation
• Experience with AWS and Databricks or a comparable Spark-based lakehouse
• Experience building SQL-based transformation workflows, with hands-on experience using dbt preferred
