Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and evolving streaming data pipelines, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and build feature stores for real-time model serving, implement streaming systems, and ensure data quality in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve streaming data pipelines for live inference and real-time model serving
• Design and build feature stores that provide low-latency, high-reliability features to production ML models
• Implement and maintain streaming systems using tools like RisingWave, Apache Flink, or Kafka Streams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering with at least 2 years focused on streaming systems in production
• Hands-on experience with RisingWave, Apache Flink, Kafka Streams, or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of feature store design, including online/offline consistency and low-latency serving
• Proficiency in Python and/or Scala, with SQL fluency required
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and pipeline observability
